Con la cosmética coreana descubrí que los tónicos no sólo se usan para terminar de limpiar el rostro, si no que se usan para balancear el pH de la piel y para hidratarla. Hoy les voy a contar mi experiencia con un tónico de COSRX que por sus ingredientes puede dar la impresión de ser exfoliante cuando en realidad lo que hace es ayudar a balancear y ayudar a que otros poductos se absorban mejor.

When I started my paht in Korean Cosmetics I discovered that the toners are not only used to finish cleaning the face, they are used to balance the pH of the skin and to moisturize it. Today I will tell you my experience with a COSRX toner that by its ingredients can give the impression of being exfoliating when in fact what it does is help to balance and help other poductos are absorbed better.
AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner es un tónico efectivo para tu piel escamosa causada por la carencia de humedad y la aparición de células muertas en la piel, ayudando con la temprana prevención de puntod blancos y puntos negros.
Hecho con agua mineral (en oposición al agua purificada) para la salud de tu piel, AHA y BHA natural para limpiar las células muertas. Adicionalmente válidas substancias como la Alentoína aporta hidratación y nutrición para una piel suave e hidratada.
FORMA DE USAR.
Método de aplicación correcto.
1. Usar después de limpiar el rostro cada mañana/noche.
2. Mojar un algodón y aplicar movimientos de dentro hacia fuera como si estuvieras masajeando la piel.
PRECAUCIONES.
1. Aunque la marca recomienda utilizar una almohadilla de algodón empapado con el toner para aplicarlo nos dice que podemos aplicarlo sobre la piel limpia con nuestras manos.
2. Si se usa el tónico justo antes de la loción o esencia, no se absorberán, por lo que hay que esperar que el tónico se absorba para seguir con los demás productos.
3. Usar dos almohadilla de algodón juntas para formar capas para limpiar el rostro completo, luego aplicar sólo uno en la zona T que es donde suelen aparecer los puntos blancos o filamento sebáceos.
4. Limpiar la frente horizontalmente desde el centro, de adentro hacia afuera a lo largo de la textura de la piel.
5. AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner está prescrito para uso diario, y puede usarse con otros productos que contengan AHA o BHA, pero en caso de piel sensible evitar usarlos juntos o controlar el número de veces que se aplica.

AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner is an effective toner for your flaky skin caused by lack of moisture and occurring dead skin cell, helping with early prevention of whiteheads and blackheads.
Contained in AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner are mineral water (as opposed to purified water) for your skin health, natural AHA, natural BHA to clean away dead skin cell. Additionally, valid sbstances like allantoin provide moisture and nutrition for mist and smooth skin.
HOW TO USE.
Correct application method.
1. Use in skin/toner stage afeter facial wash every morning/evening.
2. Amply wet a cotton pad and blot the skin along the skin texture insinde out as if gently massaging.
CAUTION.
1. It is good to use a cotton pad for skin acidify but if your skin is sensitive, clean your hands and use them.
2. If you use the toner just before lotion or essence, they don't absorb. So first finish the absorption.
3. Use 2 cotton pads together to form layers to clean the whole face, then with just one of them blot agin the T zone, oily areas, and areas with whiteheads. (By removing the sebum coating layer on T zone and such, raise the absorption rate of cosmetics producs.)
4. Clean off the forehead horizontally, from the centre, inside out along skin texture. On areas with hair, cleansing form may be left, so take caution.
5. AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner is prescribed for daily use, and you can use it with other dead skin cell removal or AHA or BHA products, but in case of sensitive skin, avoid using together or control the areas and number of times.
Mineral Water, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Water, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Lactate, Glycolic Acid, Water, Betaine Salicylate, Allatoin, Panthenol, Ethyl Hexanediol.
Este fue de los primeros tónicos balanceantes que conocí gracias a la cosmética coreana, tiene un ph de 4.0+-0.5 por lo que lo he usado con más frecuencia en mi rutina nocturna ya que al usar ácidos ayuda a que éstos tengan un mejor desempeño en la piel.
Al tener en sus formulación AHA y BHA en bajos porcentajes no hay que pensar que va a exfoliarnos la piel, ya que la razón de éstos ingredientes es otorgarle ácidez al tónico para hacerlo balanceante, por lo que no tengan miedo de usarlo.
Sí bien no considero que éste producto por sí solo sea la panacea, si me parece importante incluirlo en una rutina facial, en especial cuando se usan limpiadores alcalinos o se usan activos como la vitamina C, AHA, y BHA. En el caso de los limpiadoares alcalinos usar un tónico balanceante ayudará a que el ph ácido de la piel se restablezca con mayor rápidez; y en el caso de los activos como dije antes ayudará a que la piel los reciba mejor y sus efectos sean más notables.
Aunque se recomienda aplicarlo con un algodón yo lo aplico con mis manos, siento que es la mejor manera para aplicar los tónicos y de paso evitar friccionar la piel. Después de usarlo me deja una sensación fresca no me reseca la piel y podría decir que hasta la siento suave, la piel no la siento incomoda y se absorbe rápido en mi piel.
Me parece un buen tónico para incluirlo en tu rutina facial, especialmente si se usan ácidos, ya que aunque el porcentaje de éstos en el producto es infimo es ideal para preparar la piel. Sin embargo aunque me ha gustado mucho no voy a repetir por el momento ya que tengo otro tónico balanceante que por terminar y otros que quiero probar.

This was one of the first balancing toner that I knew thanks to Korean Cosmetics. It has a ph between 4.0+-0.5 for that I've used it more often in my night routine because I apply acids on my skin and this kind of toner helps to this ingredients absorbs better.
In its INCI we can find AHA and BHA in low percentage so it is imposible that these make an exfoliation on our skin and you don't have to worry about, because these gave acidity to the toner and make it a balancing toner.
Although I do not consider this product alone to be the panacea, I think is important to include it in a facial routine, especially when using alkaline cleansers or using acids such as vitamin C, AHAs, and BHAs. In the case of alkaline cleansers using a balancing toner will help the acid pH of the skin to recover faster; and in the case of the acids as I said before it will help the skin receive them better and its effects are more remarkable.
I like this toner and I consider is a good option for a facial routine, especially if you use acids. We have to remember the percentage of these in the product is low but it is ideal to prepare the skin. However although I liked it a lot I will not buy it again since I have another balancing toner to finish and others that I want to try.

Antes de usar este tónico recuerdo haber usado solo hidratantes; no fue hasta que comencé a leer más sobre ácidos y la importancia de usar un tónico que balanceara el pH que lo compré. Es increíble lo mucho que he aprendido en éstos cuatro años con la cosmética coreana y por supuesto todas las bloggers a las que sigo :). ¿Ustedes tienen algún tónico que sea su favorito?
Before to use this toner I remember using hydrating, then with the Korean Cosmetics and the use of acids I understood the importance of a balancing toner.
